Izithako:
- I-Ridge gour (beerakaya) - 1 usayizi omaphakathi
- Upelepele oluhlaza - 4
- Ukhukhunathi - 1/4 inkomishi ( ongakukhetha)
- Tamarind - usayizi omncane kalamula
- Izinhlamvu ze-Cumin (jeera) - 1 tsp
- Imbewu yesinaphi - 1 tsp
- Chana i-dal - 1 tsp
- Urad dal - 1 tsp
- Upelepele obomvu - 2
- Ama-clove kagalikhi - 3
- Impuphu ye-Turmeric - 1/ 4 tsp
- Amaqabunga e-Curry - ambalwa
- amaqabunga e-coriander - isandla
- Amafutha - 1 tbsp
- Usawoti - njengokunambitha kwakho
Iresiphi:
1. Hlanza bese usika ukhamba ube yizicucu ezincane.
2. Shisisa i-tbsp engu-1 yamafutha epanini bese wengeza i-chana dal, i-urad dal, imbewu ye-cumin, imbewu yesinaphi, upelepele obomvu, nama-clove kagalikhi. Shaya kahle.
3. Engeza i-ridge gourd eqoshiwe, i-turmeric powder, amaqabunga e-curry, namaqabunga e-coriander. Hlanganisa kahle bese upheka imizuzu eyi-10.
4. Uma i-ridge gourd isivuthiwe, vumela ingxube ukuthi iphole.
5. Ku-blender, engeza ingxube epholile, upelepele oluhlaza, i-tamarind, ukhukhunathi nosawoti. Hlanganisa ukunamathisele okubushelelezi.
6. Ukushisa, ukushisa i-tsp engu-1 yamafutha epanini, engeza imbewu yesinaphi, upelepele obomvu, namaqabunga e-curry. Bilisa kuze kuhlakazeke imbewu yesinaphi.
7. Engeza ingxube ye-ridge gourd ehlanganisiwe bese uxuba kahle, upheke imizuzu emi-2.
8. I-Beerakaya Pachadi isilungele ukuhlinzekwa nelayisi elishisayo noma i-roti.
