Switirhisiwa:
-Lehsan (Garlic) 12-15 wa ti cloves
-Adrak (Ginger) Xiphemu xa 2-inch
-Hari mirch (Tichili ta rihlaza) 2
-Sabut dhania (Mbewu ya coriander) 1 tbs
-Zeera (Mbewu ya cumin) 2 tsp
-Sabut kali mirch (Tiphepha ta ntima) 1⁄2 tsp
-Urad daal (Gramu ya ntima leyi avaneke) 1 Khapu (250g)
-Sarson ka tel ( Mafurha ya sinapi) 1/3 Khapu Xihlawulekisi: mafurha yo sweka lawa u ma hlawulaka
-Rai dana (Mbewu ya ntima ya sinapi) 1 tsp
-Pyaz (Anyanisi) leyi tsemiweke 1 leyintsongo
-Hing powder (Asafoetida powder) 1⁄4 tsp
-Atta (Vuswa bya koroni) 3 tbs
-Mati 5 Tikhapu kumbe hilaha swi lavekaka hakona
-Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) 1⁄2 tsp
-Himalayan pink salt 1 & 1⁄2 tsp kumbe ku ya hi nantswo
-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp kumbe ku nandzika
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) leyi tsemiweke voko
Swiletelo:
-Eka mortal & pestle,engetela garlic,ginger, green chillies,mbewu ya coriander,mbewu ya cumin,black peppercorns & pfotlosa hi ndlela yo khwaxa & u veka etlhelo.
-Eka wok,engeta split black gram na dry roast eka low flame kuringana 8-10 wa timinete.
-A yi tshike yi hola.
-Eka xibya xo sila,engeta lentil leyi oxiweke,sila hi ndlela yo tsindziyela & yi veka etlhelo.
-Eka poto,chela mafurha ya mustard & u hisa ku ya fika eka smoke point.
-Chela ti mustard seeds ta ntima,onion,asafoetida powder,hlanganisa kahle & u sweka kuringana 2-3 wa timinete.
-Chela swipayisisi leswi tshoveriweke, vuswa bya koroni u sweka kuringana 2-3 wa timinete.
-Engetela lentil leyi gayiweke, mati & hlanganisa kahle.
-Engetela turmeric powder,pink salt,red chilli powder,hlanganisa kahle & yi tisa yi vila,funengeta u sweka eka malangavi yale hansi kufikela yi olova (30-40 minutes),check & stir exikarhi.
-Engetela coriander yo basa u yi phamela na rice!
