Izithako zeresiphi ye-Daal Masoor:

  • 1 inkomishi ye-masoor daal (i-lentile ebomvu)
  • 3 izinkomishi zamanzi
  • 1 tsp usawoti
  • 1/2 tsp i-turmeric
  • 1 u-anyanisi ophakathi (oqoshiwe)
  • 1 utamatisi ophakathi nendawo (oqoshiwe)
  • 4-5 upelepele oluhlaza (oqoshiwe)
  • 1/2 inkomishi ye-coriander entsha (eqoshiwe)

Ukuthukuthela u-daal masoor:

  • 2 tbsp i-ghee (ibhotela elicacisiwe) / uwoyela
  • 1 tsp imbewu ye-cumin
  • ingcosana ye-asafetida

Iresiphi: Geza i-daal bese uyicwilisa imizuzu engama-20-30. Epanini elijulile, faka amanzi, i-daal ekhanyiwe, usawoti, i-turmeric, u-anyanisi, utamatisi nopelepele oluhlaza. Hlanganisa bese upheka ngenkathi umbozwe imizuzu engu-20-25. Ukushisa, ukushisa i-ghee, engeza imbewu ye-cumin ne-asafetida. Ngemuva kokuthi i-daal isiphekwe, engeza ukushisa nge-coriander entsha phezulu. Yiphake kushisa nerayisi noma i-naan.
