- 1 chikho Kala Chana (chophika)
- ¾ tsp Mchere
- Makapu 3 Madzi
Kwa Chana Tadka:
- 4 tbsp Mafuta
- 1 palibe Tej Patta
- ½ tsp Heeng (asafoetida)
- 2nos Kali Elichi (Black cardamom)
- 7-8nos Cloves
- 8-10nos Kali Mirch (tsabola wakuda)
- 1tbsp Ginger wodulidwa
- 1palibe tsabola wobiriwira wodulidwa
- 2 tsp Kashmiri chili ufa
- ½ tsp Haldi
- 1 tbsp Dhaniya ( Coriander Powder)

- ¾ tsp Kasoori methi powder

- ½ chikho Aloo (mbatata wowiritsa ndi kudulidwa)
- ½ chikho Anyezi wodulidwa
- ½ chikho Nkhaka (chodulidwa)
- ½ chikho Tomato wodulidwa

- ½ tsp Mchere wakuda
- 1½ tsp Jeera (Chitowe, wokazinga & wophwanyidwa)
- 2 tsp Chaat masala
- 1 tbsp Amchur powder
- ½ tsp Red chilly powder
- 1 palibe Green chilli wodulidwa
- 1no Ndimu
- Coriander wodulidwa m'manja
