Tasty Indian Dinner Recipes
Ingredients
- 2 cups of mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, beans)
- 1 cup of diced potatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute until the raw smell disappears.
- Next, add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
- Add the diced potatoes and mixed vegetables to the pan. Stir well to combine.
- Sprinkle coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
- Add water to cover the vegetables and cook until they are tender.
- Once cooked, sprinkle garam masala and stir well.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with rice or chapati.
