Tasty Chilla Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 cup besan (gram flour)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 small tomato, finely chopped
- 1 small capsicum, finely chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 inch ginger, finely chopped
- 2-3 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- Pinch of asafoetida (hing)
- Water as required
- Oil for cooking
Recipe:
- In a mixing bowl, take besan and add all the chopped vegetables, chilies, ginger, coriander leaves, and spices.
- Add water gradually to form a smooth batter with pouring consistency.
- Heat a non-stick pan, pour a ladleful of batter, and spread it evenly to make a chilla.
- Drizzle oil on the sides and cook till golden brown.
- Flip and cook the other side as well.
- Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
