Just Add Milk With Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • Shrimp - 400 Gm
  • Milk - 1 Cup
  • Onion - 1 (chopped)
  • Garlic - 2 cloves (minced)
  • Ginger - 1 inch (grated)
  • Cumin Paste - 1 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Powder - to taste
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
  • Pinch of Sugar
  • Oil - for frying
  • Salt - to taste

Instructions:

  1. Start by heating oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking until fragrant.
  4. Add the cumin paste and mix well, allowing it to cook for about a minute.
  5. Introduce the shrimp to the pan and season with salt, red chilli powder, and a pinch of sugar. Stir until the shrimp turns pink and opaque, approximately 3-4 minutes.
  6. Pour in the milk and bring the mixture to a simmer, letting it cook for another 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Sprinkle garam masala powder over the dish, give it a final stir, and cook for an additional minute.
  8. Serve hot, pairing it with rice or bread for a delightful meal.
