Homemade Pancake Mix

- Sugar ½ Cup
- Maida (All-purpose flour) 5 Cups
- Milk powder 1 & ¼ Cup
- Cornflour ½ Cup
- Baking powder 2 tbs
- Himalayan pink salt 1 tsp or to taste
- Baking soda 1 tbs
- Vanilla powder 1 tsp
- How to Prepare Pancakes from Homemade Pancake Mix:
- Homemade Pancake mix 1 Cup
- Anda (Egg) 1
- Cooking oil 1 tbs
- Water 5 tbs
- Pancake syrup
- Prepare Homemade Pancake Mix:
- In a grinder,add sugar,grind to make powder & set aside.
- On a large bowl,place sifter,add all-purpose flour,powdered sugar,milk powder,cornflour,baking powder,pink salt,baking soda,vanilla powder,sift well & mix well.Pancake mix is ready!
- Can be stored in an airtight jar or zip lock bag for up to 3 months (shelf life) (yield: 1 kg) makes 50+ pancakes.
- How to Prepare Pancakes from Homemade Pancake Mix:
- In a jug,add 1 cup of pancake mix,egg,cooking oil & whisk well.
- Gradually add water & whisk until well combined.
- Heat non-stick frying pan & grease with cooking oil.
- Pour ¼ cup of prepared batter & cook on low flame until bubbles appear on top (1-2 minutes) (1 cup makes 6-7 pancakes depending on size).
- Drizzle pancake syrup & serve!
- 1 Cup of pancake mix makes 6-7 pancakes.
