  • 1 cup fresh coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Water as needed

Instructions

To make this easy and quick green chutney, start by washing the fresh coriander and mint leaves thoroughly. Remove any thick stems to ensure a smooth blend.

In a blender or chutney grinder, add the coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies, lemon juice, cumin seeds, and salt. Adjust the green chili according to your spice preference.

Add a little water to help blend the ingredients together smoothly. Blend until you achieve a fine paste. Scrape down the sides as needed to incorporate all the ingredients.

Taste the chutney and adjust the salt or lemon juice as necessary. Once you have your desired flavor, transfer the chutney to a bowl.

This vibrant green chutney is perfect for sandwiches, as a dip for snacks, or even as a condiment with your favorite dishes. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
