Chapathi with Chicken Gravy & Egg

Ingredients

  • Chapathi
  • Chicken (cut into pieces)
  • Onion (finely chopped)
  • Tomato (chopped)
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Ginger (minced)
  • Chili powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • Coriander powder
  • Garam masala
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Eggs (boiled and cut in halves)
  • Cooking oil
  • Fresh coriander (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing the chicken gravy. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Mix in the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes, chili powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder. Cook until the tomatoes soften.
  5. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer pink.
  6. Pour in enough water to cover the chicken and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and let it simmer until the chicken is fully cooked.
  7. Stir in garam masala and salt to taste. Allow the gravy to thicken to your desired consistency.
  8. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the chapathi according to your recipe or package instructions.
  9. Once everything is ready, serve the chapathi with the chicken gravy, garnished with boiled egg halves and fresh coriander.
