Soyachunks Salad

Soya Chunk Salad is a simple and healthy recipe that you can make in a few minutes time. This salad can be served as a starter before meals.

Ingredients

  • Onion/प्याज़ -1/2
  • Cucumber/खीरा-1/2
  • Tomato/टमाटर -1/2
  • Coriander/धनिया -1 tsp
  • Mint/पुदीना -1 tsp
  • Soya chunks/सोयाचंक्स- 50 gm
  • Curd/दही-1 cup
  • cumin powder/ज़ीरा पाउडर-1/2tsp
  • Salt/नमक-Acc to your taste /स्वाद अनुसार
  • Black pepper powder/काली मिर्च का पाउडर - Acc to your taste/स्वाद अनुसार
  • Mixed herbs/मिश्रित जड़ी बूटी-1/4tsp
  • Extra virgin olive oil/शुद्ध जैतून का तेल-1tsp

Instructions

  1. Take 50 gms soya chunks and boil them. Leave them in hot water for 10 mins till they become soft.
  2. Drain the water, wash it with clean water and then drain all the excess water from the soya chunks.
  3. Marinate the soya chunks by adding curd, salt, cumin powder, mixed herbs and black pepper powder.
  4. Let the marinate rest in the refrigerator for 30 mins
  5. Add 1 tsp olive oil in a pan. Add chopped cabbage and bell peppers and sauté for 30 secs.
  6. Once cool add the veggie mix in soya chunks.
  7. Add chopped cucumber, tomato, mixed herbs, salt, black pepper, coriander, and mint to the bowl.
  8. Mix it all together and your high protein Soya salad is now ready!!
