Quick and Easy Rice Kheer Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Rice (1 cup)
  • Milk (1 liter)
  • Cardamom (3-4 pods)
  • Almonds (10-12, chopped)
  • Raisins (1 tbsp)
  • Sugar (1/2 cup, or as per taste)
  • Saffron (a pinch)

Instructions:

1. Rinse the rice thoroughly.

2. In a pot, bring the milk to a boil.

3. Add rice and cardamom. Simmer and stir occasionally.

4. Add almonds and raisins and continue to cook until the rice is fully cooked and the mixture thickens.

5. Add sugar and saffron. Stir well until the sugar dissolves.

6. Once the kheer reaches the desired consistency, remove it from the heat and let it cool down. Refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
