Qissa Khawani Kheer

Ingredients:
- Water 4 Cups
- Chawal (Rice) tota ¾ Cup (soaked for 2 hours)
- Papay (Rusk) 6-7
- Doodh (Milk) 1 Cup
- Sugar ½ Cup
- Doodh (Milk) 1 & ½ litre
- Sugar ¾ Cup or to taste
- Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) 1 tsp
- Badam (Almonds) sliced 1 tbs
- Pista (Pistachios) sliced 1 tbs
- Badam (Almonds) half
- Pista (Pistachios) sliced
- Badam (Almonds) sliced
Directions:
- In a saucepan,add water,soaked rice,mix well & bring it to boil,cover & cook on low flame for 18-20 minutes.
- In a blender jug add cooked rice,rusk,milk,blend well & set aside.
- In a wok,add sugar,spread evenly & cook on low flame until sugar is caramelize & turns brown.
- Add milk,mix well & cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
- Add sugar,cardamom powder,mix well & cook on medium flame for 8-10 minutes.
- Add almonds,pistachios & mix well.
- Add blended paste,mix well & cook on medium low flame until desired thickness & consistency (35-40 minutes).
- Take out in a serving dish,garnish with almonds,pistachios,almonds & serve chilled!
