Moong Dal Chilla Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 cup moong dal
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1/2 inch ginger piece, chopped
- 2-3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- Salt to taste
- Oil for greasing
Instructions:
- Rinse and soak moong dal for 3-4 hours.
- Drain the dal and blend it with little water into a smooth paste.
- Transfer the paste into a bowl and add chopped onion, tomato, green chilies, ginger, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, and salt. Mix well.
- Heat a non-stick griddle or pan and grease it with oil.
- Pour a ladleful of batter on the griddle and spread it into a round shape.
- Cook until the bottom side is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
