Mishti Doi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Milk - 750 ml
  • Curd - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 1 cup

Recipe:

Put the curd in cotton cloth and hang it for 15-20 minutes to make hung curd. Add 1/2 cup sugar in a pan and let it caramelise on low flame. Add Boiled milk and sugar and mix it. Boil it for 5-7 minutes on low flame, keep on stirring. Turn off the flame and let it cool down a bit. Whisk the hung curd in a bowl and add it in boiled and caramelised milk. Gently mix it and pour it in earthen pot or any pot. Cover it let it rest overnight to set. Next day, bake it for 15 minutes and put it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Super delicious mishti doi is ready to serve.
