Kale Chane Ki Sabji Recipe

Kale chane ki sabji is a popular Indian breakfast recipe that is not only delicious but also healthy. This recipe is easy to make and is perfect for a quick and wholesome breakfast.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup kale chane (black chickpeas), soaked overnight
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 large tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they start spluttering, add the chopped onions and saute until they turn golden brown.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a few minutes.
  3. Now, add the tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the soaked kale chane along with water. Cover and cook until the chana is soft and well cooked.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  7. Serve hot with roti or paratha.
