Idli Karam Podi

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chana dal
  • 1 cup urad dal
  • 1/2 cup dry coconut
  • 10-12 dry red chilies
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp salt

Instructions:

1. Dry roast chana dal and urad dal separately until golden brown.

2. In the same pan, roast dry coconut until it turns light brown.

3. Next, roast dry red chilies and cumin seeds until fragrant.

4. Allow all the roasted ingredients to cool down.

5. Grind the roasted chana dal, urad dal, dry coconut, dry red chilies, cumin seeds, and salt into a fine powder.
