Flaky Almond Magic Toast

Ingredients:

  • 50g unsalted Butter (Makhan)
  • 5 tablespoons Caster Sugar (Bareek Cheeni) or to taste
  • 1 Egg (Anda)
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla Essence
  • 1 Cup Almond Flour
  • 1 pinch Himalayan Pink Salt or to taste
  • 4-5 large Bread Slices
  • Almond Flakes (Badam)
  • Icing Sugar

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, add the unsalted butter, caster sugar, egg, and vanilla essence. Whisk until well combined.
  2. Add the almond flour and pink salt. Mix well and transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a nozzle.
  3. Lay two slices of bread on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  4. Pipe the prepared almond mixture onto both slices and then sprinkle almond flakes over the top.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10-12 minutes or air fry for 8-10 minutes in a preheated air fryer.
  6. Sprinkle icing sugar on top and serve. This recipe makes 5-6 servings!
