Fire Tarka Daal

Ingredients:
-Cooking oil 2 tbs
-Tamatar (Tomatoes) pureed 2 medium
-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) ½ tbs
-Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or to taste
-Mong daal (Yellow lentil) ½ Cup (soaked for 1 hour)
-Chana daal (split Bengal gram) 1 & ½ Cups (soaked for 2 hours)
-Water 4 Cups
-Himalayan pink salt 1 & ½ tsp or to taste
Directions:
-In a clay pot,add cooking oil & heat it.
-Add pureed tomatoes,ginger garlic paste,mix well & cook on medium flame for 1-2 minutes.
-Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,mix well & cook for 2-3 minutes.
-Add yellow lentil,split bengal gram & mix well.
-Add water,mix well & bring it to boil,cover & cook on low flame until lentils are tender (20-25 minutes),check in between & add water if required.
-Add pink salt,mix well & let it cool until desired consistency.
