Doodh Wali Seviyan Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Water 3 Cups
  • Colored vermicelli 80g (1 Cup)
  • Doodh (Milk) 1 & ½ litre
  • Badam (Almonds) sliced 2 tbs
  • Pista (Pistachios) sliced 2 tbs
  • Custard powder vanilla flavor 3 tbs or as required
  • Doodh (Milk) ¼ Cup
  • Condensed milk 1 Cup or to taste
  • Pista (Pistachios) soaked, peeled & sliced 1 tbs
  • Badam (Almonds) soaked & sliced 1 tbs
  • Pista (Pistachios) sliced
  • Badam (Almonds) sliced

Directions:

  • In a saucepan, add water & bring it to boil.
  • Add colored vermicelli, mix well & boil on medium flame until done (6-8 minutes), strain then rinse with water & set aside.
  • In a pot, add milk & bring it to boil.Add almonds, pistachios & mix well.
  • In a small bowl, add custard powder, milk & mix well.Add dissolved custard powder in boiling milk, mix well & cook on medium flame until it thickens (2-3 minutes).
  • Add boiled colored vermicelli, mix well & cook on low flame for 1-2 minutes.
  • Let it cool at room temperature while mixing continuously.
  • Add condensed milk, pistachios, almonds & mix well.
  • Garnish with pistachios, almonds & serve chilled!
