Creamy Chicken Baps

Prepare Chicken:
- Cooking oil 3 tbs
- Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 1 tbs
- Boneless chicken small cubes 500g
- Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 tsp
- Himalayan pink salt 1 tsp or to taste
- Dried oregano 1 & ½ tsp
- Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 & ½ tsp
- Safed mirch powder (White pepper powder) ¼ tsp
- Sirka (Vinegar) 1 & ½ tbs
Prepare Creamy Veggies:
- Shimla mirch (Capsicum) sliced 2 medium
- Pyaz (White onion) sliced 2 medium
- Onion powder ½ tsp
- Lehsan powder (Garlic powder) ½ tsp
- Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ¼ tsp
- Himalayan pink salt ¼ tsp or to taste
- Dried oregano ½ tsp
- Olper’s Cream 1 Cup
- Lemon juice 3 tbs
- Mayonnaise 4 tbs
- Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 2 tbs
Assembling:
- Wholewheat dinner rolls/Buns 3 or as required
- Olper’s Cheddar cheese grated as required
- Olper’s Mozzarella cheese grated as required
- Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed
- Pickled jalapenos sliced
Directions:
Prepare Chicken:
- In a frying pan,add cooking oil,garlic & sauté for a minute.
- Add chicken & mix well until it changes color.
- -Add black pepper powder,pink salt,dried oregano,red chilli crushed,white pepper powder,vinegar, mix well & cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Let it cool.
Prepare Creamy Veggies:
- In the same frying pan,add capsicum,onion & mix well.
- Add onion powder,garlic powder,black pepper powder,pink salt,dried oregano & sauté on medium flame for 1-2 minutes & set aside.
- In a bowl,add cream,lemon juice & mix well for 30 seconds.Sour cream is ready.
- Add mayonnaise,fresh coriander,sauteed vegetables,mix well & set aside.
Assembling:
- Cut wholewheat dinner rolls/buns from the center.
- On each side of dinner roll/buns,add & spread creamy veggies,prepared chicken,cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese,red chilli crushed & pickled jalapenos.
- Option # 1: Baking in Oven
- Bake in preheated oven at 180C until cheese melts (6-7 minutes).
- Option # 2: On Stove
- On nonstick griddle,place stuffed buns,cover & cook on very low flame until cheese melts (8-10 minutes) & serve with tomato ketchup (makes 6).
