Chicken Tacos
Ingredients
- 2 lbs shredded chicken (cooked)
- 10 corn tortillas
- 1 cup diced onions
- 1 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 avocado (sliced)
- 1 lime (cut into wedges)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, diced onions, and chopped cilantro. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a skillet over medium heat until pliable.
- Assemble each taco by placing a generous amount of the chicken mixture in the center of a tortilla.
- Add diced tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, and sliced avocado on top of the chicken.
- Squeeze fresh lime juice over the assembled tacos for added flavor.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious homemade chicken tacos!
