Chicken Malai Tikka Kabab Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chicken drumsticks 9-10
  • Dahi (Yogurt) ¾ Cup
  • Cream 3-4 tbs
  • Anday ki zardi (Egg yolk) 1
  • Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) ½ tbs
  • Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or to taste
  • Zeera powder (Cumin powder) 1 tbs
  • Kaju (Cashew nut) powder 2 tbs
  • Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1 tbs
  • Kala zeera (Caraway seeds) powder ¼ tsp
  • Zafran (Saffron strands) ½ tsp
  • Himalayan pink salt ½ tbs or to taste
  • Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder ½ tsp
  • Cooking oil 2-3 tbs
  • Koyla (Charcoal) for smoke

Directions:

  • Make a deep cut in the center of chicken drumstick vertically & open it like a butterfly & set it aside.
  • Mix together yogurt, cream, egg yolk, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, cumin powder, cashew nut powder, coriander powder, caraway seeds powder, saffron strands, pink salt, red chilli crushed, garam masala powder. Coat chicken drumsticks with this mixture and let it marinate for 4 hours.
  • Cook the marinated chicken in a frying pan until brown by cooking from all sides. Cover & cook on low flame until done. Give coal smoke for 2 minutes & serve!
