Beetroot cutlet
  • Ingredients:
    • 1 Beetroot
    • 1 Potato
    • 4-5 tbsp Poha
    • 1/4 cup finely chopped Capsicum
    • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
    • 1/2 tbsp Red chili powder
    • 1/2 tbsp Cumin powder
    • Salt to taste
    • Garlic-Green chili paste (3-4 garlic cloves and 1-2 green chilies blended coarse)
    • Finely chopped Coriander leaves
    • Coarse Rava
    • Oil for shallow frying
  • Method:
    • Peel and chop beetroot and potato into pieces
    • Transfer beet and potato into a pot and add water
    • Cook in a pressure cooker until 2 whistles
    • Grate the beet and potato
    • Blend poha and add it to grated beet
    • Add capsicum, coriander powder, red chili powder, etc. and mix everything well together
    • Make small cutlets and roll in coarse rava
    • Shallow fry in oil
