Arikela Dosa (Kodo Millet Dosa) Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup kodo millet (arikalu)
  • ½ cup urad dal (black gram)
  • 1 tablespoon fenugreek seeds (menthulu)
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions:

To prepare arikela dosa:

  1. Soak kodo millet, urad dal, and fenugreek seeds for 6 hours.
  2. Blend everything together with enough water to make a smooth batter and let it ferment for at least 6-8 hours or overnight.
  3. Heat a griddle and pour a ladle of batter. Spread it in a circular motion to make thin dosas. Drizzle oil on the sides and cook until crispy.
  4. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
