Apple Pork Instant Pot Cooking Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds pork loin, sliced
  • 2 medium apples, cored and cut into eight pieces
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

1. In an instant pot, combine pork with the apples, chicken broth, brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, pepper, and salt.

2. Secure the lid and set the pressure valve to SEALING. Select the meat Poultry setting and set the cooking time for 25 minutes at high pressure. When the time is up, let the pressure naturally disperse for 10 minutes and then quickly release the remaining pressure.

3. Transfer the pork and apples to a serving platter and cover with foil until ready to serve.

4. Meanwhile, select the SAUTE setting and adjust to MORE. Bring the remaining liquid to a boil and cook, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes or until it has thickened. Spoon over pork slices. Serve and enjoy!
